1

Download & open the app

Search for InSport on the App Store or Google Play and install it. Open the app and tap Create Account.

2

Enter your details

Fill in your full name, email address, and a password. You'll also choose a nickname — this is how others will search for and mention you in the app.

3

Your unique tag: Nickname#1234

After signing up, you'll be assigned a unique 4-digit discriminator — similar to Discord. Your full tag (e.g. Alex#4821) is how friends can find you precisely, even if others share your nickname.

4

Use your email and password to log in at any time. Tap Forgot Password on the login screen if you need to reset your credentials.

💡

Tip: Nicknames don't need to be unique — the #XXXX tag is what makes your profile distinct. Pick something your friends will recognise.

🔖

Your Tag

Your full tag (e.g. Sam#2049) is shown on your profile. Share it with friends so they can find you via the search bar.

1

RSVP to an event

Open an event and choose your response: ● Going ● Maybe ● Can't Go. You can change your RSVP any time before the event.

2

Capacity limits & waitlists

Some events have a maximum attendee count. If spots are full, your RSVP will be set to ⏳ Waitlisted instead of Going. Your position in the queue is shown with an orange banner.

If someone cancels, you'll be automatically promoted and notified immediately.

3

Bringing guests (+1s)

If an event allows guests, you'll see an Add Guest button on the attendee list. Enter the guest's name and tap confirm. Guests count toward the event's total capacity. You can remove a guest at any time — this may promote someone from the waitlist.

4

Inviting friends

Group members can invite their friends to an event directly. Open the event, tap Invite Friends, and select from your friends list. If the event is near capacity, invited friends may be waitlisted automatically.

5

Recurring events

Some events repeat on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule. Each occurrence appears individually on the calendar. When editing or cancelling a recurring event, you can choose to affect only this occurrence or this and all future occurrences.

⚠️

Free plan limits: The free tier supports up to 5 recurring event series, 5 occurrences each, across a 6-month window. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited recurring events.
